The Secret Garden Wedding Venue Kent
Ceremonies
The Secret Garden has two outdoor areas and two indoor areas for private wedding ceremonies, so whether you’re a party of 6 or 100, they have just the right place to say I do.
The Main Coach House
The main Coach house is licensed to hold ceremonies and can seat up to 70 guests for a fully served 3-course meal with an additional 50 guests in the evening. The main Coach house was once home to the estate’s horses and carriages, and once you enter the cobbled courtyard the reason for the name will soon become apparent. Lovingly restored in 2006, the main Coach house offers a warm romantic setting and has large double doors that open onto the south facing undercover terrace which overlooks our walled Victorian garden.
The Walled Gardens
The gardens incorporate a large kitchen garden where seasonal fruit, vegetables and flowers are grown. The garden also has a network of gravel paths, box hedging and ancient espalier fruit trees. Part of the gardens are laid to lawns and this is where you will find the beautiful marquee from May to October.
The Marquee
The main lawn accommodates a small marquee that holds 30-40 guests, extensions are added for larger guest numbers to a maximum of 120 for a sit-down meal and a further maximum of 50 in the evening. The marquee is very beautiful and has a cream and gold Morrocan style lining.
The Glass House
The new Glass House can seat a maximum of 26 guests. This is a wonderful room offering you the best of outside in dining. The Glass House is also registered for ceremonies.
