The Orangery Maidstone Wedding Venue
The Orangery in Maidstone in Kent is one of those wedding venues that will tick most of the boxes for pretty much all the newly engaged couples looking for a place for their big day celebrations.
It is situated amongst 9 acres of landscaped Kentish countryside, with its own private lake and cascading waterfalls!
The Orangery has 3 different choices for your wedding ceremony, with both indoor or outdoor (my favorite to photograph) locations: the woodland lapa, elegant gazebo and art-deco inspired garden room. All with excellent ambience and gorgeous light for the wedding photos.
The weddings are run by an awesome team at Glow Events, which will cater to all the needs of the couple and their wedding guests.
The Orangery in Maidsone bost so many different beautiful rooms for different purposes:
The Gazebo
For an outside ceremony, with its landscaped lawn, that gazebo is a perfect location for up to 150 guests. The access is either through the bridge over the lake or right pass the stunning waterfall.
The Lapa
The stunning wedding ceremony lakeside location, with a thatched roof, wooden benches and is surrounded by tall pine trees. The access is through the lovely woodland walk. The capacity is 150 guests.
The Garden Room
A great wedding ceremony location for when it’s too cold and rainy outside. With a beautiful skylight and 5 double doors, it is a lovely indoor ceremony location.
Wisteria Suite
A perfect getting ready room, with beautiful decor, high ceilings and windows and plenty of mirrors for the bride and her bridesmaids to use for their wedding day preparations.
The Orangery
The location for your wedding breakfast as well as the disco party right after with a large dancefloor. It has a lovely combination of relaxed elegance and grandeur. It can also accommodate 150 seating wedding guests and 250 evening guests.
The Grounds
The beautiful landscaped grounds are just perfect for guests to relax around. They also make for a great backdrop to the couple’s photos as well as the wedding group photograph.
