Knightsbridge Wedding Photographer
It has been such a great experience to be The Lanesborough wedding photographer during a recent wedding I photographed in the heart of central London. The Lanesborough is a 5-star hotel and such a stunning wedding venue, it is simply a perfect backdrop to wedding photos. This Grade II listed building is situated in Knightsbridge, right in the heart of busy London by the Hyde Park Corner.
The Lanesborough Wedding Photography
I approached the Lanesborough wedding photography in a typical Blue Lily Weddings style. The goal was to create a set of beautiful wedding photos telling a complete story of the wedding day as it happened, transporting anyone looking through them to those moments and feelings, just as if they were there.
The main focus of this beautiful wedding day were Murielle and Dan, the stunning bride and groom, as well as their close ones and families. It was all about the love, connection and all the little moments in between that made the wedding unique to the couple and their guests.

Here is a short selection of some of the favourite Lanesborough wedding photos from this beautiful central London wedding. Enjoy!
The Lanesborough – A Timeless London Wedding Venue
The venue for this stunning London wedding was the famous The Lanesborough hotel, which is operated by the Oetker Collection. It is designed neoclassical style and it has recently been renovated to the highest standard. The exteriors, as well as the interiors of the Lanesborough, are simply breathtaking. It is situated right opposite the Hyde Park and Apsley House, the London home of the Dukes of Wellington.
The Lanesborough’s grand exterior is equally matched by beautiful and detailed interiors. The rooms gorgeously designed and decorated, and just look at those chandeliers!
With the wedding ceremony in the Belgravia room and the wedding breakfast and the party in the Celeste the daily setup was just perfect for wedding photography.
Wedding Day Photography at the Lanesborough
The bride and groom on the day were Murielle and Dan, such a great couple, beautiful and down to earth-what more could you ask for? Together with their families and the rest of the wedding guests they created a truly magnificent day, full of love and laughter.
All together I photographed the celebrations over three days. On day one everyone went on a fun bus tour going around all the famous London landmarks. The highlight of the tour was a group photo along the zebra crossing outside the famous Abbey Road Studios-a must-do for any Beatles fan!
Day two was the main wedding day with the groom getting ready at The Ned and the rest of the wedding day photography happening at the Lanesborough.
Day three was a very relaxed lunch with tea and scones at the roof terrace of the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho with just the closest family and friends.
The wedding day at the Lanesborough had a modern Jewish ceremony and was all about celebrating family values and and simply having a great time. And the evening party with live music and the groom himself performing on the stage was simply through the roof!
Thank you so much Murielle and Dan for having me as your wedding photographer, it has been a true honour and pleasure!
Lovely wedding. I love these type of venues, so much variety and always a grand view. Fab job!
I absolutely love the bride’s dress! Awesome set of photos.
