London Wetland Centre Wedding Photographer
Recently I had an enormous pleasure of being a London Wetland Centre wedding photographer at a beautiful wedding of Nicola and Jackson. As I photographed a wedding at this lovely London wedding venue before I knew it is going to be a great experience.
Also, because we had our pre-wedding engagement shoot at the London Wetland Centre a few weeks prior with the bride and groom, I knew it is going to be an awesome day in a great company. And I wasn’t mistaken!
Wetland Centre Wedding Photos
Here is the set of London Wetland Centre wedding photos from that day. What I really loved about photographing this wedding is the beautiful light in the ceremony room. As well as the whole surrounding of the Wetland Centre itself with beautiful greenery and wast lakes reflecting the colour of the sky.
I photographed this wedding in my signature London wedding photographer documentary approach, catching mostly real, unposed images in a natural and unobtrusive way.
The wedding day started in a nearby hotel when the bride was getting ready with her bridesmaids. There we got some nice photos of them as well as the mother of the bride and the flower girl getting ready.
From there it was off to the main wedding venue of the day: the London Wetland Centre. Jackson, the groom was already there greeting arriving wedding guests gathering in the ceremony room. After a few photographs with his best man and ushers, I took also a couple of photos of the bride with her girls and father of the bride too.

The wedding ceremony took place in the Wetland Centre Observatory Room. After the vows, I dos and of course the first kiss we took some of the group photos and the confetti shot in the Wetland Centre grounds. Then the bride and groom took a bit of time for themselves and went for a walk around the beautiful surroundings of the Wetland Centre. We used that time for some beautiful wedding couple photos.
The rest of the day went smoothly and according to plan. There was a delicious wedding breakfast served in the Water’s Edge Room after which both the bride and the groom, as well as the father of the bride and the best man, gave moving and funny speeches.
The day finished with the first dance and then some crazy dancefloor moves to the tunes of a wedding band. It was simply perfect!
Thank you so much, Nicola and Jackson, for letting me be your London Wetland Centre wedding photographer.
