About

All I care about is creating absolutely beautiful photography. Images that your friends and your parents will be proud of. Something that will put a smile on your face and bring an occasional tear to your eye. A set of shots that will stand the test of time. To look through and cherish for the years to come.

Why Blue Lily Weddings?

It’s quite simple really. My daughter’s favourite flower is lily. My boy’s favourite colour is blue.

My Story

Originally from Poland, I spent most of my life travelling the world and eventually settled in the UK some 20 years ago. After much time in busy London we have now moved to a small town in Kent and enjoy every moment in the countryside. I’m a father of three, crazy in love with them as well as my beautiful, veggie loving other half. We just got married a couple of years ago in the middle of the Swedish woods, and loved every minute of it!

I have to admit, it gave me a good perspective on how it is to be on the other side of the camera at a wedding. And how wonderful but also emotionally charged it is to be in the centre of such an important day!

I completely adore my wife and kids, who to me are the purpose of life. What a joyous feeling seeing them grow, develop characters and love you back. As a family we believe in growing together and learning from each other (kids can often be the best teachers!) with empathy, integrity and just being present in every day life.

We are frequently around the country and abroad, experiencing new people, places and cultures. We love being around nature with all her creatures (with an occasional exception of mosquitoes). Just the feeling of wind on the face and the realisation that we are part of something much bigger can quickly put a perspective on life.

Over the years I explored almost every genre of photography. In the process I won Open Architecture category at 2011 Sony World Photography Awards. With time however, I found myself drawn to portraiture and weddings creating Blue Lily Weddings in the process. I simply love shooting weddings and have fun doing it. Couples tend to pick up on that and we often laugh together. I like to get to know my couples before the wedding. The passions, the dislikes, the expectations and the vision. There is no wedding too small or too big, too near or too far. Take a look around. And if you like what you see then why don’t you get in touch.
